predev School app privacy policy.

What the predev School app and website collect, why, who sees it and when it is deleted.
In short
predev School is a school platform. Teachers, students, parents and school leaders use it through the predev School app (com.predevsolutions.school) and the website at school.predevsolutions.com.
It collects only what a school needs to run. There is no advertising and no tracking. We follow Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
Who is responsible for the data
The school is the data controller for its students', parents' and staff's data. The school creates every account; you cannot sign up yourself.
predev. Solutions (PredevSolutions L.L.C., C.R. 311604, Cairo, Egypt) processes the data on the school's behalf and does not use it for anything of its own.
What we collect
We do not collect contacts. The only location we collect is the bus supervisor's phone during a trip. We never collect location from parents', students' or teachers' phones.

Why we use it
Only to run the school: taking attendance, telling parents about absences, homework, grades and report cards, and sending notifications by push, email, or WhatsApp when the school turns that on.
What we never do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking tools.
- No selling of personal data, and no use of it for marketing.
- No location from parents', students' or teachers' phones.
- No access to your contacts.
Who sees it
Inside a school, each person sees only what concerns them. Parents see their own children, teachers see their classes, and school leaders see their school.
The bus location is visible only during the trip. The parents of the children on board see it, each parent seeing only their own child's bus, and so do the school's transport managers.
Messages between a parent and a teacher are seen by the two of them. The school's owner and principal may read them to keep students safe, and every such reading is logged.
No school can reach another school's data. The predev. Solutions team looks at data only to give support.
Where the data is stored, and who else handles it
The data is stored on servers operated by predev. Traffic to those servers passes through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the service.
Push notifications are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. It receives the device token and the text of the notification.
Emails go out through our email provider. WhatsApp messages go through Meta's WhatsApp, only when the school turns it on.
We share the data with nobody else unless the law requires it or the school asks us to.
Security
Data travels encrypted over HTTPS. Files are private and open only through short-lived links. Backups are taken daily.
How long we keep it
We keep data while the school uses predev School. When a school's contract ends, we delete its data within 90 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
Bus locations are deleted after 30 days. Boarding and drop-off times stay with the school's records.
Your rights and deleting your data
A parent, student or staff member can ask to see, correct or delete their data through the school, which can change or remove accounts. You can also write to contact@predevsolutions.com, and we will work with the school on it.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete the school's records.
Children
Students, many of them minors, use predev School with accounts their school creates and approves. The school enters the data about them, and we collect from students only what the school needs.
Parents see their own children's attendance, homework, grades, report cards and bus through their parent account. They can ask the school to correct or delete that data.
Changes
If this policy changes what we collect or why, we update the version and date at the top of this page.
