/2026Phone-shop accounting where every IMEI has its own profit.
Our own product for phone and laptop shops in Egypt: stock tracked by IMEI, a fast counter screen, and double-entry books that show the true profit on each device.

The challenge
A phone shop prices each device on its own, because each one cost something different. The cloud accounting suites treat phones as ordinary stock, and one Bustan Mall shop we worked with saw its cost of goods reported as zero. The local shop programs know IMEIs but keep thin books.
What it does
- Stock tracked by IMEI, one record per device
- Sales, returns and cash drawers at the counter
- Supplier purchases and used phones bought from walk-in sellers
- Trade-ins taken as part payment on a sale
- Profit per device, trial balance and general ledger
- Two-factor sign-in, per-user permissions and an audit log
Built with: Laravel, React
Our approach
- 01
Made the device the unit of stock. Every phone carries its own IMEI, cost, status and history, and the system refuses to sell an IMEI that is not in stock.
- 02
Every sale, return, purchase and used-phone buy posts a balanced double-entry journal, so the profit report and the books agree.
- 03
Kept the counter short: a normal sale is a scan, a payment method and a confirm, on a phone or a laptop.
- 04
Built it Arabic-first and right-to-left on a Laravel API and a React app, with no third-party trackers inside.
Inside the product
The work, screen by screen.

The outcome
The first release is live and heading into a pilot with a phone shop in Bustan Mall. Repairs, shop-to-shop credit, installments and the ETA e-receipt come in the next releases.
